This client’s goal was to complete tattoo removal of this small anchor located on her hip. Hip tattoos… Yes, even small hip tattoos are all different to remove. Tattoo removal is different for everyone and not all hip tattoos can be removed in so few treatments (please see the before and after image for results after one session).
This client is the ideal example of an easy hip tattoo to remove. The picture shown is the result of just one treatment with the Revlite SI. She did receive one more treatment after this photo was taken, we can only assume that the results are even more impressive now!
A picture is worth a thousand words, our clients find that when comparing before and after images on the internet tattoo removal results differ. This is a great example of an amateur tattoo. The ink is unevenly applied and has already started to fall out.
As you can see the original tattoo was not very heavily saturated, with very little ink left to be removed before Laser tattoo removal was done. Because of this, the laser was able to easily target all ink left in the tattoo and effectively break it down into tiny pieces.
The location of this tattoo was also much for our benefit. With it being located on the hip, right near a major lymphatic gland, the small bit of ink that had to be broken down was cleared swiftly due to its close proximity.
The last piece of the puzzle was this clients skin type. Being very fair (a Fitzpatrick scale 3) we were able to increase the laser energy without chancing pigmentation issue or damage. The lighter the skin type, the smaller the melanocyte.
The Revlite SI was utilized to remove this unwanted tattoo. Its 1064 wavelength is ideal for black colors and line work, which are precisely what this tattoo was made of.
